Cala Formentor

Sandy and pebbled, clear blue waters and a very laid back day are what this exclusive beach have to offer it’s visitors.
Residing just below the famous 5 star “Formentor Hotel” you might even spot a celebrity or two!

There are two ways to get to the beach of Formentor, one is by driving up the twisting and turning roads in car or by local bus which you can catch at the main Bus Stop.

While you are there, perhaps have a coffee in the hotel but expect to pay a lot more than the average price. There is a snack bar in Formentor, but prices are above average, so perhaps consider taking a picnic and your own drinks.

You can of course also get the ferry from the marina in the Port.
This is probably a much more relaxed option to choose as you gently glide across the Bay of Pollensa taking in the stunning views of the Traumuntana Mountains.

If you would like more information on the ferry service to Formentor or indeed any other boat trips you are more than welcome to visit one of our excursion office where one of our staff members will be more than happy to assist in any questions:

Cala San Vicente

A short 10 to 15 minute bus ride away from Puerto Pollensa you will find yourself in the heart of Cala San Vicente.

This small quaint little town has a spectacular beach nestled in one of just 4 small inlets. Featuring silky soft sand and gorgeous turquoise blue waters it’s no wonder why this is such a popular beach.

Don’t forget to bring a snorkel as hidden below the sea there are a series of underwater caves! All throughout the Summer a lifeguard is present, normally hanging out a colored flag to signify the safety of swimming and even if there are a few jellyfish around.

How to get from Puerto Pollensa to Alcudia Waterpark

Alcudia Waterpark is the only water park in the North of Mallorca and is a great day out for the whole family.
Alcudia Waterpark isn’t as big as the other water parks on the island but it’s a lot easier to get to, in fact we would like to give you a few options on how to get there yourself.

By Taxi: Is approximately 15€ and the journey time is about 15-20 mins.

By Public Bus: Is approximately 1.55€ and the journey time is about 15-20 mins. The bus number is nº2 and you can get on at the main marina in Puerto Pollensa. And will need to get off at the magic roundabout at the Burger King. (There’s a red knot structure in the middle of the roundabout). Alcudia waterpark is then a short walk of 2 mins from the bus stop.

By Car: Is about 15-20 mins journey time. From Puerto Pollensa follow the bay road to Alcudia old town. At first roundabout turn left, the traffic then filters right. Turn right at the traffic lights. 2nd right at next roundabout and first right at the Burger King roundabout.

Entrance is 19€ for adults, 11€ for children.
Buy your tickets at the Nofrills shop in Puerto Pollensa (Paseo Saralegui, 122) for your FAST TRACK entrance!

Pine Walk

The Pine Walk is probably one of the more gentle walks you can do.
Starting from the main roundabout by the Marina in Puerto Pollensa carry straight onto the pedestrianized area and keep on walking straight ahead.
Casually stroll along the cobbled streets with spectacular views of the beach to your right, and the Tramuntana mountains towering tall.

Pinewalk, Puerto Pollensa

As you head past the more busier beaches this is where the walk gets it`s name.
Lots of Pine trees branch across to give a much needed bit of shade.
It carries right onto the military base at the end, see if you can spot the famous yellow seaplane!
